Founders Story
Some of my earliest memories are of walking the floor at Netcom, my grandfather’s manufacturing company. I’d watch the engineers bring new ideas to life, see the machines in motion, and hear the way my grandfather spoke to his employees—not just as workers, but as people who mattered. He believed business wasn’t just about making a product. It was about meaningful work, meaningful relationships, and creating a future people could believe in. That belief shaped everything I do.
By the time I joined Netcom as an accountant, I had earned a Master’s degree in Finance and a drive to prove myself. I didn’t want to just balance numbers behind a desk—I wanted to understand how financial health fuels operational success. I spent time with everyone—from folks on the production floor to executives—learning what mattered to them, what made the company run, and where untapped potential lived.
I used those insights to streamline operations, strengthen financial reporting, and introduce efficiencies that made a tangible difference. Leadership took notice, and within two years, I was promoted to Controller—where I played a bigger role in shaping Netcom’s future.
Then came an unprecedented challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic and the IC supply chain crisis shook the manufacturing sector worldwide. When I was promoted again—this time to President & CFO—I had a choice: react to the crisis or lead through it. I chose to lead.
I secured and restructured critical financing, negotiated strategic price increases, modernized our ERP system, and reinforced Netcom’s long-term financial strength—all while never losing sight of the people and culture that defined the company. Every financial decision was made not just to survive the storm, but to preserve and strengthen the community behind the business.
I will always be grateful for the privilege of caring for the company my grandfather built and the people who helped build it. Now, through EYR Financial, I’m expanding that mission: helping privately held businesses achieve financial stability and position themselves for lasting prosperity.
Because at the end of the day, financial strategy isn’t just about numbers. It’s about building strong companies, supporting great people, and building foundations for better days ahead.
Let’s build better days.
